Payment, orders, and cancellations

What payment methods are accepted?

  • We accept credit and debit cards, such as Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, or payment by bank transfer.

How can I cancel or modify my order?

  • Please check whether your order is eligible for cancellation or modification in accordance with our Cancellation Policy. You can contact hola@planteka.co, quoting your reference number, to cancel or modify your order, if applicable.

Do I need an account to place an order?

  • No, this is not necessary.

 

Plant care services

How does Planteka guarantee the safety of its home services and providers?

  • All our partners are carefully selected and vetted by our team, and are all professionals with extensive customer histories.
    At this point, we choose only selected members (2-3) from the community for plant care. We also provide a copy of the NIE (foreign ID number) of the person who will be responsible for caring for your plants. We will have a first introduction in person—to explain plant care and also to give you the keys. We will send you regular updates throughout the time, weekly or biweekly, depending on your preference.

How does plant care work?

  • We can provide the service in two ways. Depending on the size and number of plants, we can either

Gift card

Can I give a workshop, service, or course as a gift?

  • Yes! We have digital gift cards. They can be used for any workshop or plant care service. To purchase a gift card, select the “gift card” option from the dates and follow the purchase process.

How can I book a workshop with my gift card?

  • Contact us via WhatsApp or email and we will help you book a date for the workshop or plant care service!

Workshops

Where are Planteka workshops available?

  • Our in-person workshops are available in Barcelona, Madrid, and Valencia. We also offer online courses that can be accessed from anywhere.

Can my child attend the workshop?

  • Yes, of course! 🌿If your child is under 10 years old, they can come accompanied by an adult and do the workshop together with a single ticket. From 10 years old, they will need their own ticket to participate in the workshop individually.

Can I do a workshop if the dates don't suit me?

  • Yes. Write to us and we can organize a private workshop for you, or find another date.

What is the difference between workshops and courses?

  • Workshops are done in groups and last 1.5–2 hours. The gardening course is private, at home, lasts 4 hours (2 hours theory + 2 hours practice) and is tailored to your plants and space.

How long do the workshops/courses last?

  • Most last between 1.5 and 2 hours. The gardening course lasts 4 hours (2 hours theory + 2 hours practice).

What is included in the price of the workshop?

  • All materials are included, and you get to take home what you create during the workshop (your terrarium, kokedama, bouquet, etc.).

Do I need experience to participate in the workshop? I am completely new to plant care.

  • No, all workshops are designed for beginners and people who are curious to learn. Come along, we would love to see you!

Does Planteka organize plant exchange events?

  • Yes, Planteka organizes several fun events throughout the year. Follow us on social media or subscribe to our newsletter to stay up to date.
