Create your own Icelandic poppy out of crepe paper

Discover the art of floral paper modelling in this creative workshop in Madrid. You’ll learn how to bring to life one of nature’s most delicate and expressive flowers: the Icelandic poppy, recreated using traditional crepe paper techniques that will allow you to take it home with you forever.

We take inspiration from the natural flower, but we encourage you to add your own personal touch: larger petals, painted paper, colour gradients… because every poppy that springs from your hands will be unique.

• Creating templates and shaping crepe paper petals
• Working with cold porcelain for the gynoecium (centre of the flower)
• Laminating crepe paper for stamens and pollen
